Mauernweiler traces Berlin’s shifting urban landscape along the remnants of the former Akzisemauer, the 18th‑century city wall. Combining around 150 photographs of contemporary streetscapes and historical as well as current city models, the work reflects on how boundaries and regulations continue to shape the city’s social and political space today.
